On World Sexual Health Day, 4th September 2024, Women’s Health Goulburn North East and Women’s Health Loddon Mallee will present the findings of the multi-year Long Story Short: Reshaping the Narrative of Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health project.
This event will launch the final report and share a suite of recommendations based on the project findings to improve sexual and reproductive healthcare across our two regions.
Engage with community informed and evidence-based solutions to increase equitable access to health and wellbeing for women in rural and regional Victoria and explore the concept of what ‘better’ looks like, with the Long Story Short team. You’ll also hear from CERSH and a panel of special guest speakers to unpack our key recommendations and themes.
About the Report and Recommendations:
Drawing on women’s lived experiences and health sector expertise, as well as quantitative SRH data, the report and project recommendations offer community-driven, evidence-based solutions. These solutions aim to guide health organisations, key stakeholders, leaders, and decision-makers in making systemic changes to improve access to sexual and reproductive health information and services, addressing SRH inequities across the LM and GNE regions.

About the Long Story Short Project:
Long Story Short: Reshaping the Narrative of Women’s Sexual and Reproductive Health is a multiyear project aimed at ensuring women in the Loddon Mallee and Goulburn North East have access to the information they need to manage their SRH confidently and can access safe and appropriate health services that are delivered free from stigma and discrimination.
