The wellbeing of individuals and communities is deeply interconnected. Systemic barriers limit women, girls, and gender diverse people from reaching their full potential, but when they have equitable opportunities to thrive, their communities thrive too.
Her Mental Health Matters will guide WHLM’s work to address the gendered determinants of mental health and wellbeing, while also providing a strategic resource for organisations throughout the Loddon Mallee region.
WHLM will be joined by guest speakers from Women with Disabilities Victoria, Mind Australia and The Loddon Mallee Public Health Unit to discuss Her Mental Health Matters and efforts by health services, local governments, community organisations, and other stakeholders to address gendered barriers that limit people’s ability to thrive, and promote meaningful, inclusive change that benefits everyone.
