Suitable for early years educators, sector workers, community leaders and those who care for young children, this evidence-based workshop promotes gender in the early years by exploring the impact of gender on children’s lives and the important role service providers play in supporting children to reach their full potential. It focuses on challenging rigid gender stereotypes and unconscious bias in early years settings and demonstrates how gender equitable efforts contribute to the prevention of violence against women in wider society.

Participants will leave this workshop with practical tools to promote gender equity to children, parents and families and support greater diversity and inclusion across their communities.

Training is held via Zoom. A Zoom registration access link will be emailed on registration, and again the day before the event.
