Everyone deserves to have a safe and secure place to call home. Yet many women and gender diverse people experience discrimination and barriers when it comes to accessing secure housing. These challenges can lead to unsafe living situations and have serious impacts on wellbeing, including stress, anxiety and depression.
Women’s Health Loddon Mallee (WHLM) is seeking community feedback to inform advocacy to improve housing outcomes across Campaspe Shire.
We want to hear what ‘home’ means to you, the challenges you face in accessing or maintaining housing, and what solutions you think would make a difference in your community.
Your input will help us highlight the gendered impacts of housing instability and advocate to government for community-led solutions.
