A huge congratulations to everyone in our region and beyond that got involved in 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence this year by showing up, speaking up, and taking action.
It was fantastic to see the diverse range of events and activities happening across our communities, from gratitude trees to community gatherings, social media campaigns, to walks against violence. We especially loved the uptake of the stencil and chalk paint – way to get the word out in your communities!

From our team here at Women’s Health Loddon Mallee we’d like to extend a giant thank you to you all for getting involved in the 16 Days campaign – having conversations, challenging sexism and gender inequality, educating yourselves and others, and attending and taking part in the various activities across our region.
Violence against women is a violation of human rights. But it is preventable.
Ending male perpetrated violence against women takes whole communities.
We couldn’t do this work without all of you. Keep up the great work Loddon Mallee, and all our partners, allies and friends across Australia and beyond.
